April - Holly Craig

What's Inside?

A signed book - 'The Rip' by Holly Craig.

A candle - Pine Forest - When I asked Holly what scents she associated with her book, her first response was Pine. Rottnest Island Pine is endemic to the Island so I’ve come up with this forest blend to evoke the scents of a forest combining pine, cedarwood, patchouli & lemon.

An alcoholic beverage - Knee Deep Estate Rosé - When visiting Rottnest Island, Rosé is Holly’s beverage of choice so I’ve chosen this wine from the Margaret River region, it is refreshing, light-bodied and made by a small family winery.

or a non-alcoholic beverage - Mischief Brew Non-Alcoholic Aperitivo Spritz - When visiting Rottnest Island, Aperol Spritz is one of Holly’s beverage of choice so I’ve chosen this non-alcoholic version from an independent small batch business.

A bookmark Embedded with Rottnest Island Daisy seeds, these need a little more attention prior to planting. Simply combine the torn up bookmark with a packet of Mr Fothergill's Seed Starter Granules and add some water, this will germinate the seeds mimicking that of a bushfire.

A surprise - Ogilvie & Co Antipasto Olives. Made by a family-owned business in WA, these olives are a yummy snack on their own or paired with delicious cheeses & meats.

About the book...

Luxury villas on hot white sand, views for miles over turquoise water. Flawless hostess Penny gathers guests to an island for her husband’s birthday celebrations. But she soon regrets inviting self-obsessed Eloise…

When a child vanishes on the night of the party, their perfect island weekend is ripped apart. Even paradise harbours murky secrets…

Has he been taken? Has he drowned?

In the panic to find any trace, Penny casts about for someone to blame—even if that person is her own daughter, Rosie. Even clear waters descend to pitch black… But it’s not the first time Rosie’s been attacked by her mother. And it’s not the first time she’s turned to Eloise for support.

As the sun beats down and dark secrets rise to the surface, can they find the missing child before it’s too late—or will this sudden disappearance endanger them all?

…and someone among them knows the whole shocking truth.
