All 'Reading by Candlelight' boxes receive free shipping.
Subscriptions are shipped in the second week of the month.
Order anytime in the month to receive that month's book box. Note that if you order in the first week of the month your box will be shipped in the second week at the same time as subscription boxes.
What's Included?
A book.
Hand-picked by Fiona (an emerging writer, voracious reader and lover of psychological thrillers) and Molly (founder of Molly's Cottage and a crime and courthouse drama enthusiast), the book will be a new release by an emerging Australian author. Where possible, books purchased as a part of a subscription will be signed by the author.
A candle.
To enhance your reading experience and transport you into the fictional world, Molly will curate a candle that you can light, relax and enjoy yourself. This fragrance will be brand new for Molly’s Cottage, chosen exclusively for the Reading by Candlelight box.
A beverage.
Taking recommendations from the author as a guide, Molly will select a beverage that is the perfect pairing for the novel. This will vary from month to month and may be a wine or a spirit. Alternatively, you can opt for alcohol-free.
A bookmark.
Hand-made by Molly, this seed paper bookmark has been created using florals native to the author's home. When you've finished the book, tear it into small pieces and bring some colour into your garden.
A surprise.
To keep the mystery alive, each box will have a small surprise. The only constant being a product created by an Australian artisan business.
An invitation.
When you purchase your Reading by Candlelight box you will receive an email with a link to our Facebook community ‘Reading by Candlelight at Molly’s Cottage’.
In this community you will find:
* Our monthly video - where Fiona Taylor will interview each of our featured authors, this will be shared towards the end of the month for you to watch at your leisure once you’ve read your book.
* A space to share what you’re reading, the candle fragrance you are loving along with any thoughts or feelings you have while enjoying your book box or any other novel.
* A list of upcoming events where our featured authors will be in attendance such as book launches and writers festivals.

You have the option to purchase a one-off box for immediate delivery or opt for a recurring delivery with our subscription options.
Monthly - delivered every month. Order any time in the month to receive that months box.
Seasonally - delivered every three months.
Yearly - delivered the same month, every year. Perfect for a birthday, Christmas or Mother’s Day gift.
Within your account, you can choose to skip a month or cancel your subscription at any time.
